Introduction to Counter Culture

Counter Culture: Is a sociological term to describe the values and behavior of a subculture of people who were against war, politics, and the law. They were all also heavy in mind altering drugs like (acid). They believed in peace and love. My topics that I want to explore are the Sixties and Seventies Counter Culture, Transgender Counter Culture, Major people of the Counter Culture (Timothy Leary) Experiments with drugs ( Electric Kool Aid Acid Test) and what the government did to try to get the Counter Culture to go away. The reason I want to learn about this topic is I find drugs really interesting I also want to learn more about Timothy Leary and how this counter culture changed peoples views on the drugs, the war and the government.
